#Who we are
Exchange rates (the cursmd.app website and the app for iPhone and Android) shows the exchange rates of banks in Moldova and the official rate of the National Bank of Moldova. We do not exchange money and we do not offer banking services.
The data operator is the developer of the cursmd.app website and the app. For questions about personal data, write to us from the Support page.
#What data we process
We have no accounts and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number. The only data that reaches our server is technical, described below.
On the website
We keep the currency pair, the amount, the rate type and the theme only in your browser, in localStorage. They never reach us.
In the app
The app keeps its settings, the currency pair and the rate alerts only on your device.
Alerts are checked on the device, in the background, against public rates. Notifications are local: we have no push server, and no device token leaves your phone.
Technical data
The website and the app request rates from our server, api.cursmd.app. Cloudflare, the hosting provider, processes the IP address and the technical data of the request only to deliver the response and protect the service from abuse.
- we use no analytics and no tracking;
- we do not sell data;
- we do not build user profiles.
#Ads
Right now neither the website nor the app shows ads.
Before any ads appear, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

The website sets no cookies. Two values stay in your browser, in localStorage, and you can delete them in its settings.

#Your rights
You have the right to know what data we process about you and to decide what happens to it. You can:
- find out what data we process;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal).
The data in the browser and in the app is only with you: delete it in the browser settings or by deleting the app.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13.
